SocialGood.tv looking to buy Al Gore’s Current cable network

Online video startup SocialGood.tv said it is interested in buying the struggling Current TV cable network led by former Vice President Al Gore and possibly moving Current to Austin, Texas, where it is based, Reuters reports. San Francisco-based Current TV was founded in 2005 as an Internet-curated channel and in 2009 rebranded to focus on TV programming. SocialGood.tv is a new online video channel that offers content focused on worthy causes.
